While my academic pursuits led me to graduate with honours in Mathematics, my heart had always been drawn to the world of fine arts. From a tender age, I harboured a passionate love for art, nurturing it amidst the vibrant culture and colors of India.

Life took a different path for me, and I embarked on a 15-year hiatus from art, focusing on family and responsibilities. I became a mother to two wonderful daughters and supported my husband in his career as an IT professional . During this time, the canvas of my life remained untouched, waiting patiently for my return.

Eventually, my journey led me to settle in the vibrant city of Bangalore, where I found myself surrounded by the harmonious blend of technology and nature. It was here that I rediscovered my love for art, and the dormant artist within me awakened.

Nature, with its endless facets, became my muse. The flowing rivulets, the resounding cataracts, the dancing winds, the smiling flowers, and the majestic mountains—all these natural wonders have the power to evoke a kaleidoscope of human emotions. They infuse our lives with genuine joy and happiness. It is this multifaceted beauty of nature that fuels my artistic inspiration.

As an accomplished artist, I am on a mission to capture the abundant beauty of nature and bring it to life on canvas. I predominantly work with acrylic mediums, allowing me to express the vibrant colors and textures that nature bestows upon us. Working with acrylic is a joy, as it offers an abundant range to challenge and create new techniques, unique textures, and much more. My favorite tools in this journey are pallet knives, which I use to craft my works, adding depth and character to my creations.

My passion lies in painting nature—landscapes and flowers. I aim to transport my audience into the heart of the beautiful, natural world. Flowers and landscapes, in my opinion, possess the unique ability to elevate one’s mood with their charming colors and beauty. They inspire us to endure through all harsh and unpleasant conditions and emerge with a smile. In each brushstroke, I strive to capture the essence of this resilience, the harmony of nature, and the indomitable spirit that it offers.

With each creation, I hope to inspire others to reconnect with nature, to find solace in its embrace, and to cherish the boundless joy it imparts.
